Meet the Team

Sam Lew joins BCR Associates as a Net Zero Consultant, bringing more than 15 years’ experience delivering major sustainability and environmental programmes. His work spans climate and flood resilience, construction and development, environmental protection and nature recovery, academic research, and extensive stakeholder engagement. He combines strategic insight with hands‑on project delivery, supported by a strong academic foundation that includes a PhD focused on climate, sustainability, and complex system modelling.

Sam is recognised for a practical, real‑world approach to sustainability, shaped by deep cross‑sector experience and an ability to turn complex multi-discipline challenges into holistic and measurable outcomes. He has built and led partnerships with public bodies, NGOs, academic institutions, businesses, and local communities—collaborations that helped drive the organic growth of his own sustainability consultancy, known for its high‑impact results. Over the past four years, he has also led a landscape design and build company, blending strategic leadership with creative, practical project work.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys renovating his home, taking on creative outdoor projects, staying connected to nature, and pursuing his hobby as an amateur actor with the Exeter Drama Company.
