Meet the Team

Mark Sanders-Barwick is a Business Development Manager at BCR Associates, working with organisations to navigate the commercial, operational and regulatory challenges of the UK energy market.

Mark brings broad experience across business development, energy procurement, finance, operations and sustainability, with a strong track record of helping organisations make informed, risk-aware decisions around energy strategy and decarbonisation. His approach is grounded in clarity and practicality, supporting clients to balance cost, compliance, and long-term resilience rather than focusing on price alone.

A long-standing advocate for sustainability and ocean conservation, Mark is passionate about ethical business, environmental responsibility, and meaningful climate action. He is a long-term Vegan, has been active within the Green Party and has extensive experience supporting direct action environmental campaigns and is a veteran crew member with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. He also volunteers as a Marine Mammal Medic with British Divers Marine Life Rescue, providing frontline support for stranded and injured marine wildlife and is passionate about contributing to the protection of the UK’s coastal and marine ecosystems.

Outside of work, Mark is a keen motorcyclist and scuba diver and is a BSAC Assistant Instructor. He enjoys music and cinema and spends much of his free time walking the Devon coastline and Dartmoor with his Border Collie.
