About Salim

Salim has a long history in working in the hospitality sector having trained as a chef and having worked in many restaurants. He also spent over 10 years running a group of 10 garden centres and therefore has hands on experience in the challenges involved in running a small business; balancing day to day activities with managing overheads and dealing with suppliers.

Salim also runs a food service consultancy business with a wide variety of clients in garden centres, farm shops, schools, cares homes and leisure. He is also a director of Rosebourne Limited, a new farm shop / restaurant business as well as being a non-executive director of Wild Fowl and Wetland Trust.
 
When not working Salim loves rugby and has been coaching a junior team to good levels of success as well as having volunteered at the Rugby World Cup in 2015. He’s a passionate Wasps supporter and has travelled to New Zealand to play. He’s also a big sailing fan.

Salim also loves cooking, keeping fit and travelling and spending time with his two children, Sophie (22) and Charlie (16).

About Nick

Nick has been working with BCR Associates since 2012 and has a background in food service with 8 years as a Key Account Manager and 6 years in Sales Management. Nick previously owned 2 successful catering businesses with a combined turnover of £1.2 million which has given him hands on experience and knowledge of building and running a business. In his time with BCR Associates, Nick has developed relationships with businesses across the country as their trusted consultant for cost reduction and account management.
